X300 Ultra: A Camera-Centric Flagship Co-Developed with Zeiss

The X300 Ultra is positioned as Vivo’s most photography-focused handset in the series. Vivo collaborated with optics specialist Zeiss to refine the camera system and imaging pipeline. The Ultra’s large rear camera island houses a triple-camera setup: a 200MP main sensor, a 200MP periscope telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultrawide camera. This configuration targets both high-resolution daylight shooting and long-range telephoto capability for more detailed distant subjects.

To further emphasize its photography credentials, Vivo is offering an optional lens accessory kit for the X300 Ultra. The kit includes ZEISS Triple Prime lenses tuned to 85 mm, 35 mm, and 14 mm focal lengths, expanding the creative options for portrait, standard, and ultra-wide perspectives when attached to the handset.

Under the hood, the X300 Ultra is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, coupled with up to 16GB of RAM and as much as 1TB of internal storage. The device also includes a generous 6600mAh battery and supports Vivo’s 100W fast charging technology, designed to reduce downtime for power users. The Ultra features a large 6.82-inch display with a high resolution of 1440 x 3168 pixels and a 144Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and responsive gaming or content consumption.

X300 FE: A More Compact, Balanced Option

The X300 FE targets users who want strong camera performance in a more compact and cost-conscious package. While it retains a triple-camera array, the FE model uses lower-resolution sensors compared with the Ultra: the main and telephoto cameras are both 50MP. The FE’s rear camera housing adopts a horizontal bar design that contrasts with the Ultra’s rounded island, giving it a distinct visual identity.

Performance-wise, the X300 FE is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, delivering top-tier Android performance though slightly behind the Elite silicon in raw benchmarks. Battery capacity is slightly reduced at 6500mAh, and charging is rated at 90W. The FE’s display measures 6.3 inches, offering a more manageable footprint for one-handed use while still providing vibrant visuals. Vivo also offers an attachable lens kit for the FE, allowing users to expand photographic capabilities without choosing the larger Ultra model.

Software and Long-Term Support

Both the X300 Ultra and X300 FE run Vivo’s Origin OS, a heavily customized Android skin that includes Vivo’s feature set and camera software enhancements. Importantly for longevity, Vivo has committed to five years of full OS upgrades and seven years of security patches for these models, an industry-leading level of software support that will keep devices updated and secure for many years.
