ONERugged Launches Four Rugged Windows AI Tablets Built on Intel Lunar Lake
Device manufacturer ONERugged has introduced a new line of rugged Windows tablets designed for demanding work environments. The series includes four models—EM-I10L, EM-I20L, M10L, and M20L—each running Windows 11 and powered by Intel’s new Lunar Lake platform. Marketed as AI-capable rugged tablets, these devices target industrial applications, transportation, field service, utilities, and other sectors that require durable, high-performance mobile computing.
The lineup is available in two display sizes: 10.1-inch and 12.2-inch Full HD (FHD) options. The series is split into two variants to suit different workflows. The I Series supports active stylus input for precise pen-based tasks such as forms, annotations, and technical drawings. The M Series is optimized for glove touch, so technicians and workers who wear protective gloves can operate the devices reliably outdoors or in harsh conditions.
All four tablets meet rigorous durability standards, certified to IP65 and MIL-STD-810H. These certifications indicate strong resistance to dust and water ingress, shock and vibration tolerance, and the ability to survive drops from up to 1.22 meters. The models are rated to operate across a wide temperature range, from -20°C to 60°C, making them suitable for both cold-storage environments and hot outdoor work. ONERugged also specifies that each tablet can deliver up to 11 hours of battery life on a single charge under typical usage, supporting extended shifts without frequent recharging.

Connectivity options are robust to meet modern enterprise needs. Wireless connectivity includes Wi‑Fi 6E and Bluetooth, with optional 5G cellular support for reliable data access in the field. Physical ports include Thunderbolt 4 for fast data transfer and docking capability. The tablets can also be customized with industry-specific peripherals: 1D/2D barcode scanners for logistics and inventory, NFC for secure authentication and asset tracking, and serial interface ports for legacy industrial equipment integration.
Under the hood, ONERugged equips the tablets with 32 GB of LPDDR5x memory as standard and offers up to 1 TB of PCIe NVMe SSD storage. The thermal design includes an active cooling system intended to keep the platform running smoothly under heavy workloads while preventing throttling due to overheating. Together, the memory, storage, and cooling choices make these tablets capable of handling demanding mobile applications, local data processing, and edge AI inference tasks.
Processor options center on Intel’s latest Core Ultra family. The baseline configuration uses the Intel Core Ultra 5 Processor 226V, with optional upgrades to Core Ultra 7 256V or 258V variants for greater compute performance. Intel’s Lunar Lake architecture emphasizes AI acceleration and energy efficiency; ONERugged highlights that these chips are optimized for AI-oriented applications and promise improved performance and power savings compared with previous generations. That combination aims to deliver faster responsiveness for AI workloads while extending usable battery life in field deployments.
Display and camera equipment are tuned for professional use. All models feature a 1200 × 1920 FHD resolution with up to 700 nits of brightness, ensuring good visibility in bright indoor environments and moderate outdoor light. Imaging capabilities differ slightly between series: the I Series includes a 2 MP front camera suitable for video calls and remote support, while the M Series features a higher-resolution 5 MP front camera for clearer face-to-face communication. All tablets include a 13 MP autofocus rear camera for documentation, barcode capture, and inspection tasks.
Designed for real-world work, ONERugged’s new tablets combine rugged physical design, flexible connectivity, and AI-ready compute to serve sectors that need reliable, mobile computing at the edge. With multiple size options, stylus or glove-touch support, modular peripheral choices, and modern Intel Core Ultra processors, the EM-I10L, EM-I20L, M10L, and M20L present as versatile choices for enterprises seeking durable Windows tablets capable of handling both standard mobile workflows and emerging AI-assisted tasks.
