Koipan overview

Koipan is a Wear OS watch face inspired by the quiet beauty of a koi pond at dusk. At its heart is a pixel art scene of a single koi fish gliding through still amber-tinted water, rendered in crisp retro style with a carefully limited color palette. The background bathes the entire scene in deep amber and burnt orange tones, evoking the warm glow of a setting sun reflected across a tranquil pond surface. The koi's scales and flowing fins are highlighted with vivid cyan, and those cool accents ripple outward into soft shimmer and gentle circular patterns across the water. Sparse lotus pads rendered in chunky pixels sit near the edges of the composition, leaving the center open and calm. Dark amber-brown depths fade at the corners, drawing attention inward and keeping the mood quiet and uncluttered. The overall texture suggests depth without distraction. The design philosophy behind Koipan is balance. Warm and cool tones coexist, energy and stillness share the same frame, and every pixel is placed with intention. It is a watch face suited to those who value a composed and meditative aesthetic throughout their day, where time surfaces gently rather than demanding attention. Koipan pairs well with any Wear OS device and is designed to display clearly in both ambient and active modes, letting its pixel art scene serve as a quiet backdrop to daily life.
