Platelo: Meal Food Journal overview

Platelo is a personal food journal designed around the natural rhythm of your day. Every meal you eat gets its own place — breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a snack — so you always have a clear, organized view of what you ate and when. Opening the app, you see your day laid out by meal occasion. Tap into any category to add a dish, write a quick note, and record the time you sat down to eat. No calorie counting, no nutrition grids — just honest, structured logging that helps you notice patterns in your eating habits over time. The journal works entirely on your device. There is no account to create, no server sending your data anywhere, and no internet connection required. Your entries stay private by default, stored locally and accessible only through the app. A few things that make Platelo worth keeping on your phone: the interface groups entries the way people actually think about meals rather than by timestamp alone; you can add short notes to any dish so the context is there when you look back; and the daily view makes it easy to scan a full day at a glance without scrolling through a flat list. The app supports light, dark, and system themes so it fits naturally into whatever environment you prefer. Empty days have a clear prompt to start logging, and the overall design stays out of your way so the focus stays on your food. No subscription, no paywall, no registration. Platelo is a straightforward journaling tool for anyone who wants to pay closer attention to what they eat without the overhead of a full nutrition tracker.
