Most smartwatches force you to search for a charger every few days. The HONOR Watch 6 aims to change that perception. HONOR claims this model can last up to 35 days on a single charge, and battery life is the headline feature that shapes the rest of the device’s design and positioning.
The display is a 1.46-inch AMOLED panel with a 464×464 resolution and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. That level of brightness should keep the screen readable even in direct sunlight, making outdoor use more convenient for workouts, navigation, or quick notifications. Despite the sizeable display and robust brightness, the watch remains lightweight: the black model weighs just 41 grams, light enough that many users will likely forget they’re wearing it during the day. HONOR’s styling takes cues from motorsport design, with beveled edges that give the watch a sporty, purposeful appearance. Two finishes are available: Shadow Black paired with a fluoroelastomer strap for a sport-focused look and feel, and Twilight Brown with a leather strap for a more classic, refined aesthetic.
HONOR has focused heavily on fitness and activity tracking. The Watch 6 includes more than 120 sports modes to cover a wide range of activities from common gym routines to niche sports. It also uses dual-band six-satellite GPS for more accurate positioning and route tracking. The watch offers sport-specific metrics and modes, such as trail running support and tailored tracking for racket sports and team sports: for example, badminton tracking includes smash speed measurements, while football (soccer) mode provides movement heatmaps. These nuanced data points are useful for athletes and hobbyists who want actionable insights rather than just basic step and calorie counts.
Health monitoring is comprehensive for a mainstream smartwatch. The Watch 6 tracks continuous heart rate, blood oxygen (SpO2), stress levels, and sleep patterns. These metrics feed into daily summaries and trend reports that can help users better understand recovery, training load, and general wellness. The device also supports NFC payments for contactless transactions, though HONOR has stated that the payment feature will not be available immediately at launch and is expected to go live in July 2026.
Pricing and Availability
HONOR has set the UK release date for June 18. The recommended retail prices are £229.99 for the black fluoroelastomer model and £249.99 for the brown leather version. To encourage early adopters, HONOR is offering an introductory discount through July 17 that cuts prices to £149.99 and £169.99 respectively. At the time of writing, HONOR has not provided details on U.S. pricing or availability, so prospective buyers outside the UK should look for official updates from the company.
Beyond battery life and fitness features, the Watch 6’s combination of a high-brightness AMOLED display, lightweight build, and extensive activity tracking aims to appeal to users who want a versatile smartwatch without frequent recharging. The motorsport-inspired design gives it a distinctive look among many circular and square smartwatch options, and the two strap materials offer clear choices for active or more formal wear. For buyers who prioritize long battery life and detailed sport metrics, the HONOR Watch 6 is positioned as a compelling option in the market segment.
